Conference – Karl Marx: Thinker of freedom
8 – 9 December 2018
The Department of Philosophy of the University of Patras organizes a conference on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx entitled “Karl Marx: thinker of freedom”. The aim of the conference is to highlight the importance and relevance of Marx’s thought for contemporary practical philosophy and in particular to explore the concepts of freedom and unfreedom that we can reconstruct based on his work.
The conference will take place at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras (Room I.12).
